Jeff Goodell

Jeff was born and raised on the banks of the North Santiam River and is an avid angler and hunter. He lives a "stone's throw" away from one of the best steelhead and salmon holes in the entire river system. Jeff has been chasing springer chinook and steelhead for most of his life (when he's not hunting). He is a technical master of the float & jig method, but you'll also see him bouncing corkies & yarn or roe on occasion.

Jeff has drifted the North Santiam on numerous trips, in all seasons (along with other western Oregon rivers) and has a good handle on it's more treacherous rapids.
